This captive may look like a teardrop, but it is nothing to cry about. Well unless you miss your chance to get your hands on one of your own. This 14g (1.6mm) ring measures 7/16” (11mm) at its widest point. The total length of this piece is 3/4” (19mm).  The ring clasps a 4mm stainless steel captive ball.
