Baltimore Street Irons Cutback Front and Back Springs for Shading — Three Size (Thickness) Options
Baltimore Street Irons gives us quality and precision with their Lining Front and Back Springs. The Springs are cut while completely submerged, so there is no heat transfer to the metal during the process. This allows for no loss of temper in the steel. These springs come in three sizes (thicknesses): 0.020g, 0.018g, and 0.015g. The thin spring measures 34mm long, while the fatter spring measures 45mm long. The tabs are sent flat, allowing you to use O-rings if you choose. These Cutback Springs are relieved in the center, allowing the armature bar to rebound more. To control flex, it is recommended that artists thumb roll the front spring and use the tab on the rear spring; roll the spring more for heavy bars and less for light bars.
