About Bowery Stan Moskowitz:
Stanley Moskowitz was born the son of Sailor Willie Moskowitz; who apprenticed under the legendary Charlie Wagner. At the age of 12 Stanley did his first tattoo of a flower on his father’s leg as Billy Jones (Jonesy) watched. Later Stan became an apprentice to Jonesy. At 14 years old, he began tattooing full-time on the Bowery in New York and he never looked back.
The pigments in this Bowery Ink set are true colors used on the Bowery, and Stan keeps the tradition of Jonesy and his father by passing this ink down through generations to come.
