12g or 14g Internally-Threaded Body Jewelry Extension Post

Our Internal Body Jewelry Extension Posts are helpful when you've inserted a microdermal anchor too deeply, want to raise a dermal top slightly above the skin to aid in healing, or just need to extend an internally-threaded barbell or other shaft by a couple millimeters.

Each extension post is made from a single piece of implant-grade surgical stainless steel. The end that you'd screw into a dermal anchor or barbell has a 2mm-long, 1.2mm internal thread pattern that makes these extension posts work with any of our 12g and 14g dermal anchors and other body jewelry that has a matching thread pattern. The total piece measures 2.5mm long and has a 1.6mm diameter. The other end is tapped to hold the 1.2mm threaded end of a labret, surface bar or dermal top.
