3 1/2 stars "I chose 4 stars because I couldn’t say three but it’s not quite a 4 star product. I have had clients use countless products that do not work and this product works but it’s not the best numbing cream out there. Most people think it’s going to make you feel nothing at all, and feel pain and think it doesn’t work. This product does not completely take away all pain, but it significantly helps reduce the pain, especially if used correctly and re-applied throughout the tattoo session. There’s also not a very long window, it wears off relatively quickly. But I would buy again because it significantly alleviated pain from when I got my half sleeve done. But I’ve had better numbing creams. Actually only one I know of that’s better but this one is pretty damn good. It’s worth the money. Just don’t buy it expecting there to be no pain at all in a tattoo. It’s a tattoo, they hurt." — Noah S. (4/5)
Test Patch "I was skeptical about this product so I decided to get this and try it out.. especially because I have a dear friend who wants tattoos but they sit horribly! I did four test areas on myself to test different applications, all about 2" by 3" areas, poked by toothpick to judge numbness (judged out of 5 stars): 1) side of my upper calf: light, pea size amount of cream uncovered- 30 mins wait time never went fully numb but had a weird floaty feeling like when your leg falls asleep but without the pin pricks (1 star) 2) on my knee cap- slathered about a quarter size amount on, uncovered: 20 mins skins is partially numb but can feel deeper pokes with a tooth pick, surface is most numb (3 1/2 stars) 3)above my knee of to exterior side, slathered on and covered with saran wrap: 20 mins- i expected this area to be the most number and it is the least numb area. ( 1/2 star) 4) side of exterior thigh, above knee pit, even with nickel sized amount, covered: 20 mins and this area is the most numb. I can feel pressure but not the sharpness when I poke at it with a tooth pick, also the most consistent surface area of numbness. (4 stars) I think that this product will help some with tattoo pains and concerns but I do not think itll fix the problem. Expect to still feel some discomfort and pressure-- which I also like so that people can communicate any issues and not sit through it." — Kassidy (4/5)
