Beautiful but not entirely steel "I bought this nearly a year ago and wore it every day. Slowly the dangling part became discolored, usually a bit more every time i cleaned it. I didn't mind because that part doesn't touch my skin. A few weeks ago though I had an allergic reaction in that lobe and got a mild infection afterward. I realized the front rim that touches the lobe is not steel but silver plated zinc. The plating came off after time. I'm purchasing another one because I love the piece and get so many compliments on it but I'll be watching out for discoloration on that front rim so I can stop wearing it and buy a new one before having another reaction. It's a lovely piece, the tunnel is definitely steel, but watch out for any discoloration after a few cleanings if you have metal allergies! All in all, I love it so much and will likely keep buying a new one every year despite the bad reaction. Price is excellent too!!" — Rex (4/5)
