Sweeeet "I love these for practice but they have a bit of a learning curve to them. They tend to “dry out” a bit during practice sessions. You may have to stop and take out the cart a few times to get the ink flowing again as you chicken scratch on a separate piece of paper. Not always tho, a few have worked flawlessly. Also, if you were to use these in your studio, they are rather loud when being used on paper. You may want to practice with these when your alone or in a noiser environment. Aside from that these have helped greatly in my apprenticeship currently and I will be purchasing again. These are a great tool for learning how to hold the machine while running, pulling and sculpting lines, learning to make mistakes (needle pokes, shaky lines at first, etc), and learning how far to stick your needles out for your particular reference." — Andres F. Fun for art "These are great for drawing. My only complaint is there isn't much ink in them, i needed more than one to finish a drawing and they are quite spendy for being pens essentially, with not much ink" — Amy T. (3/5)
Not perfect, but fun and "Not perfect, but fun and good for getting the vibe of a new machine" — Jacob L. (4/5)
Great product if your only "Great product if your only pulling a couple short lines not much ink . But for learning the concept it did the job ....." — michael l. (3/5)
A fun tool "These are great while I am learning to tattoo, it helps get a feel for the movements and weight of a machine you can’t get from traditional drawings. A quality product for sure. Only wish they came out with a variety pack of colors instead of always having to buy all the colors separately" — Kristin R. (5/5)
new to emu? "these are a great way to get the machine in your hand while practicing patterns!! I love these cartridges so much and know they will be useful to new artists." — Anne M. (5/5)
