Cue the confetti cannons—we're kicking off a month-long celebration for our quarter-century milestone! That's right, it's been twenty-five years of PAIN(fulpleasures)—from growing pains to overcoming hurdles, it's been a hell of a ride. But through the challenges, the real joy has been fulfilling our mission: helping you thrive as artists and shop owners. So this bash is all about you. If you're tattooed from head to toe, go ahead and rock your birthday suit. Let's paint the town! A BIG THANKS TO YOU This celebration wouldn't be possible without each and every one of you—from right here in Hanover, Maryland, where we ship your orders, to customers across the country and overseas. Whether we see you on social media, at conventions, or in our studio checking out new supplies and sharing your thoughts (candidly AF of course), your support means the world to us. Everything you do helps us improve: from your shares, likes, and visits to your chats at conventions and real, raw reviews. We're immensely grateful to be part of this vibrant, creative, f*cking weird world of artists and creators. SO… HOW IS THIS A PARTY? Yeah, so, the idea of a month-long party online might sound confusing. But it's a thing. Celebrate with us first and foremost with FREEBIES. All month long, you can grab free merch, BOGO deals on some of your faves, and killer sale pricing on high-quality supplies. That's the easiest way you can celebrate—and who doesn't love free PainfulPleasures stickers featuring our tattooed hot dog buddy introduced this past year? JOIN THE #25YEARSOFPAIN CELEBRATION But that's just the goodie bag aspect of the celebration. We wanna make this personal. So at any point this month… Hop onto Insta, TikTok, or FB Let us know how long you've been ordering with us—or just share a fond memory Feel free to use the hashtag #25YEARSOFPAIN Brownie points if your sentiments bring a glistening tear to our eye(s). SOME BONUS THANK YOU'S If it wasn't clear enough, 25 years is a celebration of YOU. But we've also gotta thank our whole team here at PainfulPleasures. We're a tightly-knit, super weird squad and after years of working together… well, it's pretty clear we wouldn't fit into a normal office/warehouse environment. Just like artists, we're a strange breed. We'd also like to thank all our partners for supporting us and helping us grow. OH, and our competitors too. This whole thing would be boring without a little competition. HERE'S TO ANOTHER QUARTER-CENTURY OF PAIN (and pleasure of course) Keep creating, and we'll keep providing and having your back. That's the deal that's kept us going these past 25 years. It's hard to believe how quickly time has flown by. It feels like just yesterday we were writing our 20-Year Anniversary Feature, which was all about our founder Marc Gagnier. But if you'd rather skip the sentimentality and dive straight into grabbing your freebies, reflecting fondly, placing an order, (or exiting this blog immediately) that's perfectly fine too. Before you go, please accept another big thanks from us. We're thrilled to continue working in this industry for another quarter-century and beyond.
